| CLUB PHILOSOPHY 1. We believe every child is a precious gift from God and that his or her nature and total development must be a concern of the society. 2. In absence of a family, there is a need for shelter and residential training to help the child become aware of his/her develop full potential. We believe in a scripture that says; A man's gift makes room for him and seats him with great men. Proverbs 18:16. Most children are talented so this can pave a way for them in the future. 3. Our love for Jesus drives us to commit ourselves wholeheartedly to the children including spending as much time as possible with them and always accepting them. We also believe that we must keep an open door for our children. No matter what they have suffered at the hands of these exploiting themselves have done (robberies, attacks on tourists, smoking e.t.c) we must always accept them Jesus himself provides a perfect example of child development. And a child grew and became strong; he was filled with the wisdom and the grace of God was upon him.(Luke2: 40) Surely these simple words should guide us in caring for and supporting all children. (Read Mathew 21:15-16) But when the chief priest and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, Hossana to the Son of David. They were indignant. Do you hear what these children are saying? They asked him. Yes replied Jesus, have you never read, from the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise? Jesus identifies himself with the child like, let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Whoever welcomes a little child like in my name welcomes me (Mathew19: 13-15). |
